Predator-Prey:The Pacific Ocean contains many predator and prey interactions but one example is the great white sharks and seals. "The Red Triangle" is a triangular shaped region off the coast of Northern California where most of the seals in the Pacific Ocean live. This is also the most common area where the great white sharks like to hunt for their prey. Another common place the great white sharks like to hunt for prey is in "Seal Island" where the sharks arrive and leave at a depth of 9.8 feet. The white sharks favorite type of seal are the baby seals because they have up to 50 percent fat content. Even though the white sharks main meal are the seals sometimes they mistake them for humans which is where many of human shark attacks occur.
